About Finding Ways
My clients are all uniquely individual, bringing their own distinctly personal stories, experiences, fears and concerns to therapy. I believe it is essential that the service clients receive is similarly individual, and the approach tailored to meet their specific needs and personality...whatever their age. Finding Ways takes an integrative approach in helping the client work through their difficulties, often taking into account the family and wider environment that impacts on the individual's world. My work is usually based within a 10 mile radius of Kettering, Northamptonshire.
I am an Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist, trained to Masters level at Northampton University. I am a professional foster carer with extensive training and experience in helping children move on from trauma caused by neglect and abuse, and I provide a therapeutic home for up to two siblings on a short term (up to 18 months) basis.
My therapeutic experience has also been gained through working with charities (NSPCC, Mind and Cruse Bereavement Service), as well as working in school. I have also worked in safety and wellbeing, addressing workplace stress issues. I hold a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
